Artisans call on all institutions and individuals to give the best of themselves to build a better world. That is why each year we will guide a craft activity and at the end of the year, all work will be auctioned and the benefits delivered to the International Red Cross, the first year. This initiative will subscribe to the Baix Llobregat, at first, but do not rule out extending it to all of Catalonia. So in 2009, in our first edition of Honeycomb Solidario, our guide was the patchwork quilts were three solidarity. All participants have bought a kit and have made at home. Once collected all the kits, have padding under the supervision of María del Carmen and have made the "three works of art collective."
The day of "event" will be presented three quilts solidarity and provide a parallel exhibition to the work of patchwork made by participants. The same day, they will be selling tickets to get around the three quilts. Income earned, both from the sale of the kits, as tickets will go on the draw International Red Cross.
